A fantastic PCVR title on Quest 2

🚨FULL REVIEW VIDEO IS AVAILABLE BY SEARCHING ‘GAMERTAG VR WINDLANDS 2’ ON YOUTUBE🤌 Back in 2017 I had my first experience of PCVR and the first game I ever played was Windlands 2. I had of course played the first game on PSVR but that was purely swinging and collecting items, which was fine by the way but Windlands 2 had combat and multiplayer. The combination of how smooth and natural the movement feels along with the truly massive multiplayer boss fights just left me wanting more. I experienced a sensation that only virtual reality can deliver. Catapulting myself up in the air to get as much as height as possible then pulling back the string on my energy bow and letting loose some devastating shots to these machine was at the time an experience like no other.

Fun Swinging But Low Stakes and No Depth

Somewhat surprised at all the glowing reviews, but glad some people are enjoying this more than I did. Yes, the swinging, although purposefully crippled, can be fun, but the environments are lifeless, the enemy variety is severely lacking, and the archery feels unsubstantial. There are other games with far superior swinging mechanics, and other games with much better archery. It still feels like a glorified tech demo to me, unfortunately. For a full review, search YouTube for 6DOF Reviews Windlands 2. And obviously, opinions on this game are divided, but I’m also noticing a lot of the top reviews seem to be from gamers who enjoyed this game on PCVR a long time ago, and seem to be reviewing it through nostalgia-tinted glasses :) At $14.99 it would be okay, but for what it is, I think $24.99 is hard to justify.

Average

I do not share everyone's delight in this game. Two really cool things about it are the feeling of flying and the music. Otherwise, the game is pretty monotonous and boring, boss battles are tiring, and the locations are almost the same. It's a really big world here, but it's practically empty. All you'll find in it are a few boring enemies and statuettes. Plus the pseudo-cartoon graphics that have filled their teeth.

ONE OF THE BEST QUEST2 GAMES TO DATE

25% off: tiny.cc/wind2 Use my little nephews code for a discount please! I own this game son PSVR and PC, and I have to say they really went in and made this quest version the best one to date. This game is PERFECT for the quest 2 with its massive player base. This is truly one of the classics in VR and now it’ll be easier than ever to get a group together to play!! The swing mechanics are so satisfying that for years everyone has demanded that this studio make the first true Spider-Man VR game, and the swinging feels better than ever now… just do yourself a favor and buy this game, ITS AWESOME 😎

Is ok just short with not lot to do

So starting with good: swing mechanics and combat is fantastic and challenging the voice acting is nice and sometimes the world feel big bad: story is anticlimactic and short the three world is empty there is no side mission to do or enemy to destroy maybe collecting and music is not varied and its ok so if you have can get it for cheap than maybe get it i hope they going to add some content until then 3/5
