Great to play with kids

This game flew way under my radar,I would’ve never even considered giving it a shot. Luckily,it is currently free to play with the Quest+ subscription. I seen it on there and started to skip past it but I’m always looking for games that my 7 & 8 year old nieces might enjoy. When I read the game description,I knew I had to give it a try. My 8 year old niece lives with me so I figured we would give it a try this evening and it did not disappoint Me and my niece usually got stay at my sister’s house on the weekends. My sister works Fri,Sat & Sun nights and I got up there to watch her daughter,my 7yr old niece. I’m doing my sister a favor but it also gives my nieces more time to spend together. I look forward to going up there this weekend so we can all 3 play together. Another huge plus about this game is,when playing in VR you remain stationary which makes it possible for my nieces to play as the tree sometimes too. The only games I have let them play were either games where you remain stationary or mixed reality games to prevent motion sickness In this game you can have as many as 8 friends playing against you on phones/tablets. This game would be a big hit the whole family could enjoy on holidays & family get togethers. It’s also a great way to introduce children to the wonder VR technology or at least include them in your experience. I know this is an old game but it is a hidden gem. I would love to see more developers bring us more party games that work in conjunction with phones/tablets. I love seeing newcomers reactions to VR/MR,especially when it comes to young children,there excitement is unmatched. I will never forget my first VR experiences and I love to share that experience with others

Love the game so here’s suggestion’s

I absolutely love this game, it’s a blast, especially when played with friends and family. That said, its fun factor heavily depends on having others available, and it can start feeling repetitive after a few rounds. With a few thoughtful updates, it could be much more versatile and engaging. Suggested Improvements: 1. Single-player •Solo mode with bots: Many players suggest adding the ability to play by yourself just against bots. This would easily eliminate the issue of not having people to play with. •Story mode: I think it would be great if there were an addition of a story mode where waves of squirrels attack you and progressively get harder. This would also add some variation to single-player. 2. Online Matchmaking / Public Rooms •Adding an online lobby or matchmaking feature would help users connect with others globally, not just locally. 3. Training / Stats / UI Enhancements •Training area: A dedicated practice zone with targets to warm up and improve skills would be valuable. •End-of-match stats: Tracking throws, saves, longest distances, accuracy, and most durable squirrels would boost replay value . 4. Balanced Game Modes & Power-ups •New modes: •Capture Zones: Squirrels capture points on the map •Attack the Tree: Squirrels throw items at the tree to bring it down  •VIS (Very Important Squirrel): Escort missions featuring checkpoints, with team strategy  •Power-up pickups: Place squirrel power-ups like speed bursts or shields throughout maps to encourage dynamic gameplay. •Balancing aids: •Scale tree abilities based on squirrel count. •Reduce tree’s sap cooldown, puddle duration, and large boulder linger time. 5. Camera & Controls •Mobile controls: Improve joystick and camera responsiveness, the current fixed-back view is frustrating when retreating. •Phone UX: Fix screen-timeouts and stability issues on Android devices. 6. More Content & Replayability •Larger variety of maps: More terrains, new level layouts, and dynamic obstacles would refresh the experience. •New squirrel characters & customization: •Introduce new squirrel types (e.g. an invisible “Camo” squirrel, female variants). •Offer cosmetic and gameplay unlocks over time. 7. Spectator & Shared Experience •Spectator mode / Multi-tree: Add a spectator viewpoint or allow two trees, enhancing strategy and engagement, especially for larger groups.

Shouldn’t be this much fun

Got this game to try and entertain my nieces/nephews, except the adults ended up having just as much if not more fun! Perfect for small parties. Played for almost 3 hours all talking turns as the tree. Acron will be a regular in this house!

The one and only!!!

If only there could be other games like this one! I feel so lucky and grateful to be able to play such a party game with my friends who don't own a VR headset. They all love it and appreciate it more than any other VR game out there!

Needs a single player mode

I love this game, but don't know anyone else with a headset and the game. The tutorial is so fun, I wish I could play more, or just connect with a stranger to play.
