Banned for no reason!

I was just banned for no reason. They do not tell you why you are banned. It’s ridiculous. It was my first time playing and o only got to play for about 10 mins before I got kicked off. I did absolutely nothing wrong. In fact all I got to do was walk around and say hello to one person. One lady yelled at me for walking up on their conversation but I was just learning how to use my new VR headset so I didn’t mean to. I just think it’s stupid to get banned and not even get a warning or explanation as to why. And the fact that just anyone can complain and ban you makes it way too easy for some person who just doesn’t like you to get you permanently banned. I did contact the support team. But I don’t even want to play this game anymore honestly. I wouldn’t enjoy it because I would be too worried about not getting banned.

Joke

As far as I can tell all I did was disagree with someone who was a moderator. This person was horrendously rude to me and just because I called them out on it I get banned. What a joke. If we didn't have a system proped up by biased overlords then VR would advance at a much faster pace. But I can't be too critical as my headset might become a paperweight which I think highlights the fundamental problem with this platform.

Decent enough

I've been using this app for about a month, and had no bad experiences yet. Not a whole lot of kids so that is a plus, but most of the shows there is a loud mouth or someone trying to be Mr. Popular. Some great VR experiences in the art section. The shark game show is very awkward with no real rules and mostly the host just winging it. I think VR is still in it's infancy after years of development, and it will take a few more years and buckets of money before a shift is noticed. So far there are no real users so no advertisements which means no ad revenue, and that equals a slow development. Most events now only have 5-20 people in them so it becomes awkward. Maybe in a year this will get popular or fold altogether.

Banned after playing once (update)

Update: I changed my review after my experience with customer service. Please reach out if you feel there was a misunderstanding with a ban. I had a very good experience and the issue was resolved. Now I realize it was simply a matter of keeping the community safe, as my son and myself both have “young” voices. My account was restored. We are brand new to VR. We have all been home quarantining with COVID and thought this would pass the time. My 13 year old son was banned while under my supervision. He did nothing inappropriate, other than roasting marshmallows at the camp fire. Is that worthy of being banned? And reading the info 13 year olds can play under the supervision of an adult? Again, I don’t think this is fair to new users who are just getting used to VR. I found several people helpful in helping us navigate technical issues but being banned as brand new users is making me think twice about having this downloaded and I am very disappointed. It doesn’t seem I am alone in this.

Racist app ....

Played for a few days I’ve been in a lobby where I’ve heard white people saying the N word , and noticed they would not be banned or anything but if your avatar is black and you disagree with someone in the lobby no matter what the situation is about you will be banned ... not worth the time to download this app. There’s a reason why this weak app got shut down in 2017 , and when you write a ticket “Mike” from Microsoft does nothing cause he’s just a incompetent loser who sits behind a desk all day checking emails 🤦🏽‍♂️... happy to be done with app
