Runs very very poorly

The game’s graphics aren’t that great to begin with, i’m sure it’s a Quest2 game in heart, so it’s even less excusable how poorly the game runs on Quest3. -Low LOW fps -Constantly stuttering -Camera is too smooth even with smoothing off -Relies entirely on async reprojecting -Looks pretty bad for the performance Everytime i play it i want to puke after around 20mins, when i can usually play for 4-5 hours no problem. I cant understand how a game that’s only corridors runs this poorly. It’s a fun game otherwise.

Exactly what I was looking for!

So I bought another game (won't say the name for anti-slandering purposes) that I thought was going to be what I was looking for, and it was a solid game, good story, good graphics, but not what I expected. This anonymous game just came out a week ago while Cave Digger 2 has been out for much longer, and Cave Digger 2 still holds its wait against this newer, higher budget property, and even exceeds what this newer title offers. Procedurally generated caves, tons of loot, variety of monsters, lots of content, lots of freedom. This game is easly any virtual miners dream. It's clear that another title tried to clone the DRG feel, but fell short, Cave Digger 2 does not. Cave Digger 2 reminds me of DRG, comedy, mining, monsters and all.

YES! No wait… DOUBLE YES!

This game is one of the best on the Oculus store. First off, the amazing tools. Never once have I thought “Hey, I wish I could rocket into a stone wall with a hammer.” But now I can. Second, the combat. It’s just exhilarating to fight the enemies in game, whether it be slamming a hammer into the face of an overgrown chameleon or shooting an explosive fly out of the air. Third, the secrets. I have spent only a few days playing this game and I have already found multiple zip lines and even a rip-off play boy magazine in a safe. And not only that but there’s even a stolen sweet bun that references a dialogue line a guard in Skyrim may have. “Let me guess, somebody stole your sweet bun” (at least I think that’s the reference.) Oh, but it doesn’t stop there. The caves and hubs are massive, the multiplayer is amazing, the game is a perfect mix of A Township Tale and Orbus VR, the creators actually interact with the community, and the new narrator is even more morally dubious than the last! Of course it has its glitches but they aren’t anything that break the game itself. Though there are some annoying ones like… a rock wall may block the rest of the cave from the exit elevator, sometimes you can’t mine and even when somebody else mines the wall doesn’t break, and sometimes ore will just float around you even though you can’t pick it up. Overall, this game is a one-up from the first Cavs Digger. Unlike a lot of games, this one managed to be just as good as its teaser showed. And the way it was teased on the saloon TV was just amazing. But anyways, I would definitely suggest this game to anybody who loves a good mining session!

Ready to mine!!!

This game is exactly what you are looking for if you enjoyed cave digger 1 and wanted more. Being able to do endless runs and upgrades along the way is so satisfying, the amount of tools has greatly increased as well. And with a way to randomize your run at the start to give you some good buffs/debuffs for excitement in the mines, speaking of mines you are able to buy more than one type of mine and explore. This game is a hollerin good time and I can’t wait too dig till I can’t no more.

best multiplayer game

cave digger 1 was far more relaxing but cave digger 2 is a completely different action packed game also what ever you do DONT LICK THE FROGS but it’s a great game :)
