Not even worth the $1 it cost me...
The game has very little to nothing going for it. "Is it fun?" - No. The "gameplay" is you just walking around (very slowly) and randomly looking for whatever glowy items you can find, which are literally the only objects outside of drawer andvdoor handles you canveven interact with anyway. "are there puzzles?" - Again, no. There's finding items and putting them somewhere else. Always in the same general area of the house at that. There's 2 very lite-puzzles at the very end, but they aren't brain teasers in any real way. So it's just a walking and item hunting simulator. "Is there any story?" - Yet again, no. There's small details of the residents being crazy killers and evenbdevil worshipers I guess, but it's literally just you walking into their house after crashing your car. No dialogue even.... "Is it ATLEAST scary?"- No... they try jumpscares frequently, but it's 99% limited to "monster/ killer in your face screaming!" and then immediately fades back to normal like nothing happened... Even when they do decent with the atmosphere/ slight creeps like going into a room with a dead older woman just staring at you while rocking in her chair, her head following you as you move; they immediately ruin it with the 10th da*n telegraphed "jump scare" again, which wasn't scary when they did this 9 literally rinced and repeated jump scares ago (ALL of which are very obvious/ telegraphed). It is funny at times though with how hard it seems to be trying to scare you. Hopefully that's sort of the joke and is intentional. 😅 With even the sounds being very repetitive (though the graphics are ok and do the job for the most part) the game just has nothing even worth $1 for it... Its a horror game that has no story, which would be fine if its fun to play. But its not fun really, but add on not even being scary (making you roll your eyes after the 3rd "jump scare"), and its a waste... This game wasted my time and my money (luckily only a dollar...), anf that's all it did for me.. I HIGHLY recommend spending justca few more bucks on the many better horror titles out there. Save your time and money from this one.
