Great Start.

The Devs at the Death Horizon team have done it again. This time with Death Horizon: Cyberfusion. It is currently in early access, but from the initial gameplay, it is looking promising and gonna eventually be a fantastic sequel from their first project, which is Death Horizon: Reloaded. They are always actively listening to player feedback and criticism and always work hard to improve their games. I can't wait to see where the future of this title leads to.

Brutal Addictive with Tons of potential

Honestly I dont usually write reviews but Death Horizon Cyberfusion really deserves one I went all in unlocked every weapon got all the achievements finished every run and even after that I still wanted to keep playing Its one of those games that just feels right in VR From the start I was hooked The atmosphere the physical combat the cyber upgrades its a solid mix of fast action and sci fi vibes and its clear the devs put a lot of love into it A few things I think could improve Weapon slot system the current setup for storing your pistol and katana feels a bit rigid It would be great if we could swap items between slots during a run or just have more flexible inventory options Sometimes I would have 100 bullets use a 60 round mag and be left with 40 rounds but the game wouldnt let me reload with the leftover bullets That breaks the flow a bit and doesnt make much sense The final rooms after a full run are confusing big empty spaces where nothing happens Not sure if Im missing something but sometimes you drop down and cant even get back out Theres a room next to the scoreboard in the main lobby that looks like it should have a purpose but it doesnt Nothing to interact with Makes me wonder if its for future content I would love to see more map variety and enemy types The layout changes each time but visually it still feels like the same area And while the enemies are solid after a while you know exactly how to deal with them I noticed the ingame roadmap only goes up to this year so Im not sure if more updates are coming but I really hope they are Because this game has so much potential and with a few tweaks and fresh content it could easily become one of the top VR action titles out there Final thoughts I had a blast with this game I genuinely enjoyed every run and even after completing everything I didnt feel done Its got heart great ideas and its already super fun just needs a little polish in a few areas I truly hope the devs keep going with this project It has everything it needs to keep growing into something even bigger

Helpful game improvements

Here’s a short list of improvements that I think would make the game even better: 1. Auto Height Setting: The auto height feature needs improvement. It should save the setting so I don’t have to adjust it every time I start a new round. 2. Melee Weapons: Consider replacing the standard straight blade with something more varied, like a broadsword or an axe, to add more excitement to melee combat. 3. Dual Wielding Pistols: Reintroducing the ability to dual wield pistols from the first game would be a significant improvement. Adding a quick tap-to-chest reload mechanic would further enhance the gameplay experience. 4. Item Placement: Currently, item placement is inconsistent—items either phase into or are pushed out of the body depending on the player’s movement direction. A fixed, stationary item placement system would make it easier to grab items reliably. 5. Weapon Reload Mechanics: I’ve noticed some issues with racking weapons. Extending the weapon rack aperture or expanding the field of grab would help avoid awkward hand positioning and make reloading more fluid. 6. Climbing Mechanics: The climbing mechanics need to be improved. While being attacked by a horde of zombies, I struggled to climb out of a room due to how sluggish the mechanics feel compared to the first game. Faster, more responsive climbing would greatly enhance the overall experience. Overall, it’s a fantastic game, and I had a lot of fun playing it!!!

Good

This VR game instantly pulls you into a dark cyberpunk universe where every corridor feels alive with neon lights and danger around each corner. The randomly generated levels keep each run fresh, so you never know what’s waiting ahead. The visuals look great in VR, and the combat feels intense — especially when you’re surrounded by zombies in those tight, glowing hallways. Weapon upgrades and smooth controls make the experience even more engaging. If you enjoy cyberpunk vibes and action-packed VR shooters, this one’s absolutely worth trying.

I cannot believe this happened!!!!

I really want to request a refund. However, I genuinely want to support this Dev. But what happened is sooooo frustrating I almost through my oculus out the window. Granted the levels are super redundant. It feels like the very same level over and over and over. Just new objectives in the same are. But ok ill give it a go. I played like a God!!! Level 1... level 2... Level 3. Played all the way to Level 5 and died on the 2nd boss. Ok no problem. Ill run it back and get busy..... NOPE! THE GAME RESTARTED MY PROGRESS ALLLLL OVER. I have to start all the way back to Level 1 and grind my way back to where I died at. Come on man. Why would you guys set the game up like this. Freaky HORRIBLE. Ive never in my entire life played a game that does this. All of my guns and coins are there. Everything i purchase is available. My Level is still at 10. But i have to START THE MISSION ALL OVER??? No way!!! Wtf is up with this?
