As many others have said, we didn't want this forced on us. More and more and more junk is being made mandatory installations or placed in our libraries. I've even uninstalled it and others like Instagram only to see Meta reinstall them again against my wishes or put in our menus. Meanwhile I can only put TWO apps - TWO!!! - on my 'own' (ha!) Universal Menu. Absolutely ridiculous.

Facebook is trying to backtrack on its Facebook account for the Quest headset and now it’s trying pathetically trying so badly to force users to login or make a Facebook and link your account to collect data, without user consent. After all Facebook is the second biggest advertising company in the world(behind Google). What I find effing messed up is that Facebook has the option to Uninstall their apps, but Facebook intentionally will reinstall them back onto my headset purposely.

This is my first and last vr head set from meta. How the hell do you own the hardware and software to a product and can't even login to the app that made you the money to acquire all this. The Facebook app just keeps looping me back to the front page of the app when I get to the linking account manager part. Everything looks good then back to the start. Now I'm reading the reviews and it's been like this for a while and still no fix. So sad what a waste of money, thank god I can still log in to Facebook market place and sell this pos.

I hate bloatware and want to delete everything I am not using, this is one I would like to get rid of.
