I Expect you to die, 100% Review! This game is phenomenal the story and the voice acting are amazing the visuals for it being a 2016-2021 game are mind blowing , as a puzzle game it does everything correctly showing not telling , the achievements are fun and the jokes are witty and land every time! Some souvenirs are a little buggy but that can be overlooked regardless I highly recommend this game , easy and fun to understand and youll have a blast!

BRILLIANT!

Game is so creative and fun, it makes you think outside of the box. GREAT voiceover, tasks and graphics. Several times I wanted to YouTube or Google the clues, but I am so happy I didn’t. Struggle and figure it out, THAT is the fun part of the game! Enjoy.

Don't Expect Multiple Playthroughs

Unless you have a PC and connected it to your Quest, Schell Games has made NO ATTEMPT at including multiple save files per account OR the ability to reset your progress so that you can play it again. Read that again: You pay for this game to play it ONCE. I think anything else you need to know about the game is irrelevant until Schell decides to fix this. Lazy and bizarre and makes me feel like it's a cash grab.

My favourite game series

This game has the perfect humour, style and gameplay to my taste. When I bought a psvr, I bought this game because it looked interesting, the reviews were good and it wasn’t expensive. I had no idea how good this game was going to be! It’s my favourite game series, and all my nephews, nieces and my brother who use my vr at times, all of them really like this game too. I even bought it again for my quest! There’s one important thing to remember with this game: Don’t give up. If you get stuck, take a break and play something else, once you get back to it you’ll usually solve it. Try everything again even if you think you already tried something, try it again. It’s a great feeling when you solve the puzzles on your own without going online to look for hints (sometimes you might feel tempted to do that 🤣). Like in live generally you learn by making mistakes, the same goes for this game, indeed, I expect you to die is the perfect name for this game.

Fun concept, poor execution

Having just come off of The Room VR, this escape room game falls far short by comparison. 1. The biggest flaw by far is the lack of an ability to save anywhere in the game! If you die during a level, you must repeat the same steps again and again just to get back to the point where you died before you can move forward. That got boring real fast. 2. No hint system. This goes to #1 above. I'm not interested in repeating the same steps over and over again. In fact, this is a missed opportunity by your snarky supervisor to inject some humour into the game. 3. Some of the steps aren't logical at all. For example, in the 2nd mission you mix up a concoction to melt through some chain. I spent some time trying to figure out logically how to open the container to pour it out. Turns out you just hover the container near the chain and sort of wave it around at which point it magically breaks open and spills the contents. 4. This game needs an inventory system. If you grab something, then put it down, it can fall out of sight or out of reach and you may need it later. So you are forced to exit the level to reboot it... AND repeat all the steps you did before again. (See #1 again.) 5. Why do you play this game sitting down in one spot? It defeats the purpose of VR by not allowing you to move about in the environment. Instead you use an awkward controller system to explore, move and use objects. If your thumb is too heavy/light on the joystick the object ends up flying back and forth in the air as you try to calibrate your touch. And, sometimes the trigger button and the grip button were interchangeable when it came to operating objects... OR not. It seemed to be an arbitrary thing. I probably won't end up finishing this one.
