Fun....But....read before buying
With small tweaks this game will do great. 1. Gun cooldown will ruin your experience around the 7th or 8th wave. You simple can't kill anything fast enough. Regardless of what upgrades you get. I haven't made it past wave 9 or 10. There's to many enemies, not enough dmg and the gun CD time will make you lose. Every time. 2. Turrets....idk if it's just me but not being able to toss my turrets even just a few feet away is crazy annoying. 3. Gun swapping. I get it. 1 Gun that can transform into others is cool.....but when you couple the time it takes to transform from one mode to the next AND super long cooldowns AND low damage.....its almost not worth it to switch. Having your sword on your hip or shotgun over the shoulder is infinitely a better idea. 4. Tracking/accuracy seems SUPER OFF. I get there's simulated spray so not all your bullets fly straight but there's virtually NO REASON AT ALL to aim down sights. ESPECIALLY with the sniper. Your best bet is do a random shot and hope it hits. And adjust accordingly. Sniper shot if anything should be the most accurate and it just isn't albeit strong. 5. Why. WHY TF is the shotgun a pump action? Trying to reload it is so clunky and awkward.....swap to a auto shotty with 6 or 8 shots and then put it on cooldown to auto reload. The pump reload is 100% trash. Lastly....... give people some kind of tutorial. Let people know they have to suck up the gold cubes tov level up. Should we be right up on the portal or 10ft back? Does dodging actually help? Is there another way to get health? Do the different turrets do more or less damage? Like you HAVE to give us a bit more info than open portal and figure it out. This game has so much potential. Honestly tower defense shooters like this are GOLD if done right. Now clean this up and Do it right! It's so close to being great. Even at the clunky stage it is now.
