In Islanders: VR Edition, you begin with a blank canvas and a small set of minimalist buildings. Your goal is to populate and enrich each island with your creations, unlocking new buildings as you go by achieving a maximum score. Points are earned by carefully placing each building, being mindful of their surroundings like providing clear access to natural resources and making sure entry isn’t blocked.
When you’re ready, you can travel to a new land, exploring Islanders’ stunning new environments along the way, while building bigger, more expansive structures. The more you build, the higher your score will be and the grander city you’ll be able to gaze upon before starting all over again for just one more round.

I'm very proficient in games. But this one is terrible with just symbols for the tutorials on what to do with the controllers at the beginning. I struggled to figure out what the animations meant. The last one where it shows a highlighted button that looks like a sun. I tried everything I knew and can't get that thing to go away. No video reviews out there mention the tutorials and how to get past them. Refunding until this is fixed.

I would like to have my money back for this game. The updated tutorial is still very hard to understand. It needs words explaining action we need to do to complete the steps, and letters on the buttons we need to push. I did make it through the tutorial after a while of trying anything to get through it. Then I got to the game and all you get is points when you place buildings. No people, animals, or other things going on in the game. I did like the mechanics of the game. Being able to zoom in and out with buttons while moving your hand in and out is nice and being able to spin the picture is another good featured mechanic. I was expecting more out of the game though. It has potential but it is far from finished. Thank you Justin

The game is basic, place a building, it increases score, repeat, game ends when you can't get more buildings, I want a refund, it was an absolute waste of time and money, the only fix is making it more like a building game, add a population happiness, demand, make it us sustaining a settlement or something.

I love this game with my all right now. It’s precise feel and calming atmosphere makes it a must have for VR players. I thought about getting little cities and saw that it can stressful so I downloaded this and have yet to regret it. You guys have done a great job and have a masterpiece on your hands! Thank you so much for this, I have enjoyed it a lot so far!
