Media View brings all digital media into mixed reality.

We are building a streamlined utility to let you step out of the confines of a traditional screen and view your content using the space around you.

Please note: Media View is in active development. Critical updates are coming soon.

What it does today:

Multi-Panel Workspace: View multiple (currently limited to 3) 2D photos, panoramas, and 360° videos simultaneously around your space.
Immersive Mode: Instantly toggle from your multi-panel layout to step inside 360° and panoramic content with full room-scale immersion.

Known Issues & What’s Next:

We hear the community: getting your own custom content into the app is currently frustrating. We are actively rebuilding the file upload workflow. Please be patient with us as we iron out these bugs and push critical updates over the coming weeks.

Works great on Quest 3

As a first-time user of a media viewer application, I must express my utmost satisfaction with the experience it provided. The convenience of accessing all my media content from a centralized location, coupled with the immersive viewing mode, made it an enjoyable and efficient way to engage with my media. The user interface was particularly impressive, offering an intuitive and user-friendly design that enhanced the overall experience. At last! Easy panorama viewing

I'm so pleased with this because it means I can view any panorama image that has been sent to me without having to connect my headset to a computer and upload it to a special folder, I can just download an attachment from email via the browser and immediately look at the panorama image in immersive view from the directory where it was saved You can even pop different images/videos around you in a mixed reality environment and choose anyone you want to watch or look at. I'm very pleased with how this product works

One Place

I just want a simple one stop app to view, search and edit media, and then be able to delete the stuff I no longer want. First try of this app caused my headset to reboot. But it's a start I guess just a way to go before it becomes a useful tool.

Needs Some Work, But it Has Potential

In the depreciation of Oculus Gallery we've been in a bad spot. Quest hardware just gets better and better for viewing our personal panoramas and 3D/360° pictures and videos... but no matter whether you're doing it though the Files app or Meta Quest TV it's just not good. Files won't just let us swipe to the next picture when one is open and Meta Quest TV can't even show us directories/albums. So all I had to see was the title of this app and I got excited. Only to find out it was ROUGH. But even though it launched in a rough state I saw the potential for this filling the hole that Oculus Gallery left behind. So I kept it installed and kept checking back... and I gotta say it's getting better fast. It's already the best personal media viewer on Quest, but I wanna see it get better. Navigation can be greatly simplified to where we don't have a whole new window pop up every time we open something, the immersive view button should be beside the navigation buttons, we should see cloud and NAS options greatly expanded, and we need to be able to see our items in terms of the directories they're in. This app also has some stability problems. When this app crashes (which is frequently) it crashes in a way where I have to reboot my headset. It needs some work, but this has the potential to be a killer app for those who are out here making 3D, 360° and panoramic memories.
