The Oculus Sample Framework is an experimental sandbox for VR developers and designers. It consists of a set of simple scenes that illustrate solutions to typical problems in VR, such as the mechanics of first-person movement or gaze-based UI. Each sample provides an in-app control panel allowing users to change parameters such as the length of the fade to black in a teleport, the delay on a UI element, or the z-depth of a crosshair reticle.

Note : This sample browser can be navigated with just touchpad, but some scenes require a gamepad.

it seems unfair to me that the owners of oculus rift and oculus quest have the possibility to play games like VRchat, pavlov and beat saber and instead we have other games with oculus go (and most of them are also ugly)

Up until yesterday, this app had been working fine. It was incredibly old & outdated, but it worked. The latest update won't even work. First I tried updating to it, but it failed. Then I tried reinstalling, but now the app fails to install. I used to use this app as a quick demo of how different settings in a gear VR game can affect the user's experience. It has steadily lost relevance sure to bring outdated however. Now, I can't even experience it as a relic of VR's early history.
