Excellent vision-training software

This software has been extremely helpful in treating my amblyopia. It is a great adjunct to my Brock String exercises. I am hopeful (and confident) that it will result in me completing the development of my binocular function (I currently do not have binocular vision/stereopsis). Some things that are great about it is that it provides you with feedback to your abilities like vergence. It has a Daily Workout feature that includes a series of games that have different focuses, like tracking, peripheral vision, vergence training, color detection, and antisuppression. The visual system is complex and multifaceted. So I feel like when I use Optics Trainer, it's a bit like taking a multivitamin--I'm covering all of my bases--especially when I combine it with classical vision training techniques like Brock String. And it's super affordable! I do Optics Trainer every day. Thanks for creating Optics Trainer and making it so accessible! It is a game-changer.

Need more like this

Vision therapy that is fun and you can do in your own home. My son has congenital esotropia Post surgery and i wish there had been something like this when he was younger. He is 11 now so i think he will have to do this the rest of his life so i wish there were more games and easier covergence games, the birds are too hard. He only has partial vergence. But anyway when he uses regularly, he has the appearance of binoncular vision, but if we stop for more than a week, i start seeing his nondominent eye go out of alignment. I think they should study this in 6-8 year older to see if it can make lasting impact.

I've tried the Beta and After Beta

I've been using Optics trainer since December in it's beta version until 22nd of February as my free trail ended😟. I've used it specially for traning my condition lazy eye and It helped me with my eye's coordination, texture difference and memory, as there's a lot of in-side games that train different aspects. It's a good app and if you're looking to improve your eyesight then I would give it a try, my eye has improved from 6/30 to about 6/15(not only using Optics trainer but it had it's share in it). Would recommend.

Amazing Program!

This is the only program of its kind and it is amazing! The settings automatically adjust based on your personal level and it exercises your ability to use the eyes together. Love the discord channel to discuss with other people with strabismus and lazy eye.

Love the concept but the membership fee is a bit excessive.
