Want user retention? PRIORITIZE THIS…
1. This is not a request but more of a beg and plead…Achievements need to be part of the UI Dashboard, accessible with the a double click of the oculus button for easy viewing/tracking while playing a game…NOT in a standalone app. I’m grateful that achievements exist but please migrate the achievements into the OS. 2. When achievements “pop”, I should have the option to see/hear them as a notification. (Similar to meta move, Xbox, PlayStation). Audible sound accompanied by visual would be great. 3. PLEASE make achievements count towards a player level. Similar to Sony or Microsoft. 4. Give the achievements their own tab in the meta quest app. Let me see my player level, achievement progress per game on my phone! In its current state, achievements are a nightmare. The reason why this is such a big deal is because THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A GOOD ACHIEVEMENT SYSTEM WILL LEAD TO USER RETENTION.
