Good game but needs locomotion asap

Fantastic game but seriously needs locomotion, its unfortunately a point and click teleport only movement which Im not a fan of at all and normally refund a game once I find this out but the story and nice graphics makes me wsnt to keep it in spite of the dissapointing no location.

Not the Puzzle Game I Hoped For

When I bought this game, I thought it would be a regular puzzle game like The Room or The 7th Guest, where you solve codes and mechanisms. I didn’t realize it was actually a “find all items” type of game. Unfortunately, I waited more than two weeks before trying it, so I couldn’t refund it. Personally, I’m not a fan of hidden-object games — they strain my eyes, feel repetitive, and start to feel more like work than play. Also, there are only two chapters so far, which feels very short for the price. That said, if you don’t mind searching for items, what’s here is still decently made. So take my review as a reference: if “find all the items” games aren’t your thing, this one might not be for you.

A smartphone game in VR

My first impression was that it's like playing a smartphone game in VR. I visited the developer's website and it looks like this is their first VR game. Their previous games are smartphone hidden object games, which is essentially what this VR game is, so my initial impression was accurate. It's a Quest 3 exclusive but the graphics look dated. There's no real time lighting. The skybox in the first outdoor location looks like something from the early days of 3D rendering as the stars distort into lines as they approach the horizon. The windows have blurry opaque glass so you can't get a look at the street from interiors. The animations are primitive, and sometimes absent. The first character I met moves very robotically and "slide walks" and takes turns mechanically. By "slide walk" I mean the character glides smoothly along moving their legs but the feet have no connection to the floor, they just swish back and forth with no respect to the walking speed. Opening a door causes it to simply vanish, there's no animation of it swinging open. The controls are primarily point & click with teleportation movement. The game plays in a rigid semi-interactive manner. Looking for clues pins you to one spot until you've found them all, just like a smartphone hidden object game. The puzzles I encountered are ridiculously simple and pretty much solved themselves. Young children who enjoy hidden object smartphone games would probably have a good time with this. However their parents might object to some of the content, (including references to smoking), so I have no clue who the intended audience is, but it's certainly not me, so I'm requesting a refund and moving on.

Extremely boring and repetitious

This is not what Sherlock Holmes would've wanted... I'm given a list of objects to find in a room - which are all out in the open - and I point and click on them. That is the extent of the game. Am I missing something? Unfortunately, didn't get to the game until after the refund date.

Immersive and Clever Detective Experienc

I really enjoyed playing this game! The atmosphere is incredibly immersive, and the hidden object mechanics feel fresh and engaging in VR. The environments are beautifully detailed, and each case keeps you curious and thinking. Definitely worth trying if you like puzzle and detective games 👍
