Is this game a bit lacking in presentation? Yes. Are the tutorial parts a bit unintuitive? Yes. Are the graphics a mix of great and terrible? Yes. Unfortunately. But are the gameplay mechanics sound? Yes! Is it fun to play and challenging at times? Yes! Is the story interesting for kids and Smurf lovers? YES! The good far outweighs the bad here. Definitely the best Tower defense game on quest!

I was so looking forward to this game. Sadly it's going into the refund box. Where to begin? There is no "mixed reality" it's simply passthrough on or off. The aliasing (jagged edges on graphics) is absolutely horrible and no way to add anti-aliasimg. The logs floating back to you are in 2D, Huh? Coverless story book to choose level? Why? Takes up too much space. Says made with Unreal Engine though graphically the game is a horrible mess. How this dev team got rights to Smurfs is beyond me. Boring, ugly, messy, the only praise I can give is the characters themselves look good. This game shouldn't be released as is and is far more like a very early access title.

Played three levels. I found the intro enjoyable and followable and gave me multiple chuckles. I failed level 3 twice and got ever so slightly winded XD. So, a little challenge is present with collecting and spending resources simultaneously. I love how the game makes us a part of it. The Smurfs acknowledge your presence and you basically walk around the map as if you're right there in the forest helping them.

It's a very good tower defense game with a bit of story to it. The story intro at the beginning was pretty well done, and even feels a little surprisingly dark for Smurfs, in a good way. The mechanics are easy to learn, and there's a decent amount of variety and strategy to it. If you're a fan of Tower Defense Games, then definitely give it a try.
