Worlds includes supervision for parent-managed account users 10-12 years old (age may vary by region) and optional supervision features for 13-17 year olds (age may vary by region). It is currently available on Meta Quest, mobile and desktop. You can also manage and set up your profile from the Meta Horizon mobile app. Everyone in Worlds must abide by our Code of Conduct for Virtual Experiences.

BEWARE: This app does not adhere to the privacy settings and violates several laws. Disabling the microphone in the main menu does not keep the microphone disabled throughout the rest of the app experience and does not notify the user of this. Personal information was exposed despite my express actions to disable microphone use.

Never been in there and decided to check it out for a bit and was fine as long as adults were around. Once majority of adults left and kids came in, not sure why cause it was a week night, it began to get crazy. Had one 14yr old, I know this cause she told me she was 14, begin to be rude and harass me earlier in my visit and the adults corrected her and she stopped. Once adults left she began again while I was just standing there. I told her to get away from me and then it really began, all her friends began to gang up on me! It was crazy. I did get angry at that point and probably said a few choice words I shouldn't have. I told them they could just stop cause I wasn't leaving and they were not going to bully me! They kept on harassing me until I guess they got bored with it. One of them even reported ME for my conduct!!! 🧐🧐 Which is crazy cause they were totaly out of control, not me! I now understand how bad these kids bully one another! They were trying to bully me and I'm an adult..🥴🥴 We were not like that as kids! Way too many unsupervised kids with gang and bullying mentality! 😡😡

Rude kids, games are bad, filled with pedophiles, inappropriate language (Heavy Racism, Sexism, and more) and that’s only the beginning. It’s just overall horrible, and I hate the idea that Meta supports this.   If this gets taken down I will sue for you infringing my first amendment rights to the freedom of speech.

I'll start by saying that I'm a mid core gamer and adult. You got rid of personalization by eliminating home environments, pushed us out into an area filled with 9 year olds and AI slop games- zombies, apes and Roblox looking junk. This is not IG, this is not Facebook.These are not mobile phones. These are not Meta Ray Bans. VR is a different concept and it should be. The only good thing I've seen out of this so far are the concerts, that is an awesome experience to be among others or go grab a seat and see it in 3D. If you really want everyone to be social then a good start would be to create some kind of option for users to be able to filter by age group. There are always times that I really want to like the idea they're pushing and I'll go in there, but then I hear a bunch of kids and leave because even in VR it's creepy and awkward for an adult to be chilling around a bunch of 7-12 year olds. On that note, parents beware because adults are on there and fully able to communicate with your children, no filters. I know they can get reported to Meta, banned etc. but do we even really wanna chance the interaction to begin with? This is where I feel age group settings wouldn't solve the issue completely, but it would be a good start.

I think you and horizon worlds is dead. It’s a kids paradise. Great. You wonder why adults don’t want to go there? Because of the kids. You are profiting from the kids. I get it. But there is no way I am using mobile. I paid for headsets and now it’s flooded by bratty kids and you wonder why adults don’t go there anymore. They get the adults mad and then report them. Congrats. You created a kindergarten and wonder why adults don’t buy into it.
