bHaptics Player App is a device manager which allows users to connect bHaptics devices with Oculus Quest to play natively supported games. Pairing a device in the Player will register it on the device, allowing any games to automatically connect to the devices. Main functions of this application are as follows;

Pair / Unpair: Users can Pair and unpair bHaptics' haptic devices. Once the haptic devices are paired with the app, it does not require any other pairing processes for Quest game which used the bHaptics SDK to provide haptic feedback.
Real-time Streaming: Users can see the haptic mappings on bHaptics Player (PC version) realtime using this application.

No Updates, lots of big VR Titels unsupp

I own the Bhaptics Pro Vest for nearly a year now and i must say the vest i great, but not for native VR..... Why? Because many of the big VR Titels are unsupported... Batman, Asgard's Wrath 2, Green Hell VR...or... they are broken like Onward, Blade and Sorcery Nomad or Guardians Frontline and there are absolutely now updates in sight.... Unfortunately, the audio-to-haptic function offers no alternative, as the vest reacts to EVERY sound and you get a continuous massage... So, anyone considering investing several hundred dollars or euros in a VR vest to play the best native VR titles should think twice... The situation is quite different for PCVR. .

Quest 2 NO Game works, yet App is fine..

As you can see from some of the more recent reviews the bHaptics App has become a brick sitting in the Quest 2 VR Headset. The App itself will install and the internal Manager operates as expected but I was unable to get any game, at all, to operate the Tactsuit x40 Vest in any way without having to hardline the Aux Audio-Direct from the sound output of the headset into the vest input. Nearly $600 for these items and they take a working earlier version of the app and utterly destroy any point in the purchase, leaving the dead app here on the store for more than 6 months without correcting the issue. I guess I will be returning the x40 vest since bHaptics cares so little about selling a working product.

The bHaptics team is constantly adapting to the VR landscape and has just taken a huge step forward in making haptic devices even easier to use for Oculus Quest owners. No more sideloading!

Next level gaming

This app is meant to be used with bhaptics gear. If you do not own their product make sure to check them out on their website (Google will help you finding them as I'm not sure if can paste link here). The bhaptics gear provide a new depth of immersion to the already immersive experience that is VR. This app allows user to connect easily and benefit from the bhaptics gear in supported games. To find the list of supported games head over bhaptics website and click on experiences, VR and then select the oculus quest in the devices list. Enjoy!

Garbage

Was so excited to buy and get my vest, only to be extremely let down and frustrated. I have always had the hardest time getting this to work properly with the quest 2 since day 1. I'll never understand why we have to go through a separate app to get this to pair with the headset. The old app before this could detect my suit and I can ping it, but as soon as I leave to start a game it disconnects and says there are no paired devices. This new updated app is even worse because no matter what I do, it will not detect my suit at all when it is flashing trying to pair. It won't show up under the list of available devices and I can not pair through the headset settings as well. Out of about 100 times of trying to use this with VR. It's only worked properly as intended maybe 5 times, and that's being generous. Very discouraging and upsetting. These cost a lot of money and bhaptics should make sure they have things like this worked out well in advance before having the right to sell them at the amount that they do. I hope I can get some help someday, so far support has not done much at all.
