This game is designed as a purpose-driven driving experience. Players take on passenger pickup and drop-off missions, with each journey offering new routes, challenges, and objectives. The focus is not on racing, but on thoughtful driving, patience, and making the right decisions on the road. The world is built with carefully crafted environments, featuring colorful landscapes, foggy mornings, and varied terrain. Some missions require climbing steep hills, navigating uneven roads, or reaching remote pickup points, making gear selection an important part of successful driving. Knowing when to shift and choosing the right gear directly affects vehicle performance and control. Driving mechanics emphasize realism, with authentic vehicle physics and a manual gear shifting system tuned with realistic gear ratios. Players who understand manual transmission driving will find the experience more intuitive and rewarding, while others can gradually learn through practice as they progress.

An important emotional layer comes from the game’s original, custom-made soundtrack, created specifically to match the mood of each journey. The music, combined with visual atmosphere and purposeful gameplay, aims to create a reflective and emotionally engaging driving experience.

🚗 A Purposeful Road Trip Adventure

MetaJourney – Long Way Home blends adventure and racing simulation into a calm, purposeful driving experience. One of the highlights is the manual car driving, with smooth and intuitive gear changes that add a welcome layer of realism and immersion. You drive across open environments, picking up passengers and completing missions, while focusing on choosing the right paths and managing your driving rather than pure arcade speed. The experience feels thoughtful and relaxed, more about the journey than rushing to the finish line. The crafted soundtrack perfectly complements the road-trip vibe and makes long drives genuinely enjoyable. Overall, this is a fun and accessible experience that will appeal to both driving fans and players looking for a laid-back VR adventure.

Very Relaxing!!!

This is a very nice driving simulator. You drive an old fashion car across various towns, picking up passengers and taking them to their destinations. This is a very calming experience with a fantansitic sound track. This is not a car racer, or a shooter, no zombies, etc. Just a really nice calming and enjoyable VR game!!! Thank you, I wish we had more fun programs like this one!!!

Good for the price

Without huge expectations, I purchased this game due to the positive reviews from other users. I have only played it for a short period so far, but from my point of view—and considering the price—it is a really good simulation. As mentioned by some users, this game is not about driving as fast as you can to beat a timer. It is just about relaxing, finishing your tasks, and driving passengers from A to B while enjoying chilling music on the radio. Sure, the graphics could be better and maybe a few more animations in the background would make the game feel less sterile. But as I wrote ealier, for this price-performance ratio, this is a really good game! I like it :-)
