Has potential but not there yet
This is quite obviously a metal-themed clone of Beat Saber. On paper this sounds amazing, in practice it's unfortunately not great. First off the music library is tiny. As far as I can tell there are exactly five playable songs. Then there's the game play itself - you hit stuff, just as in BS, so far so good. However, they left out the direction and the obstacles. It doesn't sound like much of a difference, but during play it very quickly starts to feel tedious and repetitive. After trying this one for a bit I played a few songs of Beat Saber and in direct comparison BS feels so much more elegant and refined and - most importantly - fun. I'm still undecided whether I'm going to get a refund - I might book this for myself as a donation for an indy dev - but it has not been worth the money for me. Edit: Thanks for the response. I really, really want a good metal rhythm game, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and keep the game. Please make it awesome!
