VR Final Fight and Street of Rage!

Saw this in the store and could not resist. The art style beefy, colorful and fun to be in. Part game, part comic book, all 90s video game style bust-em-up! Along with your fists they added kicks that can be executed by the A buttons on both controllers, when you feel cornered press both buttons together and use a hurricane kick! When you get your special fight meter to the limit, prepare to unleash serious fiery justice. Weapons are grabbable and and allot of other things as well. The developers did a SMASH UP job. I'm also excited that it will have a multi-player option soon to play with friends. As a fan of the beat'em up games I have zero regrets with this game and look forward to more stuff by this company.

From an 80's kid

This game pays beautiful homage to the 80s beat'em up side-scroller fighting games like Double Dragon and Streets of Rage. I played those type of games for hours as a child. My favorite thing about Path of the Warrior is that I can definitely see myself playing this game for hours too. Made me feel like a kid again. What a work of art.

Great game

This is an extremely fun and intuitive game that feels great to play and punch, I would say that it is perfect but there's no replay value after you've finished the main story, I think it would be good if there was a wave defence mode or something along those lines to add some replay value but all an all a very good game

Solid game but take breaks!

I had a blast with this game! Unfortunately I could only play one level at a time as I always experienced motion sickness if I tried to beat more than one level in a sitting. It didn’t seem to bother my kids as badly but every adult I played with had a hard time. Otherwise it was a lot of fun. I grew up in the era of double dragon, streets of rage, and final fight and it really felt like I was a part of the game!

Don't listen to high reviews

I love beat em ups. Love fighting vr games like Gorn. This looked like a good mix of the two. Don't believe the hype. Gameplay is super stiff, no blocking options, every hit requires you to wait. I'm sure the powers make the game a lot more fun, but when the core combat to get that far is boring and kills your party, you look for a refund.
