Soothing and relaxing experience
I have a number of VR games but I ultimately come back to this one. It opens up in a comfy library with a cozy fireplace and an old-timey radio on a desk. A tiny jester directs you to gaze at a stack of cards until they unfurl in the air above the desk. Next to the radio is a green back button to go back one card move (or more moves if you keep pressing) and a red start-over button. Behind your left shoulder is a big red chair that I dream about sinking into. Game play is effortless, no hands required. Just stare at the card you want to move and it automatically moves to the right place. If I had to suggest improvements I would wish for two things. One, the cards on the desk are very low. When I play I'm already half reclined in the bed which means I'm digging my chin into my chest to engage the deck. Second, I really do like the soft jazz that the radio plays but oh how I wish I could access Pandora somehow. I would love to play some classical Christmas music right about now. I hope there are more relaxing games like this for vr. Not every game must have cliffs and whirls and some of us really appreciate these games. Oh one more thing... I find that the game has a tendency to drift to the left and by the time I've played a few games, my body has turned around by 180°. I don't know if this is an Oculus thing or a game thing. The graphics are gorgeous, not bright and cartoony but rich colors like burgundy, leather and wood. I highly recommend it, and this is the first time I've ever left a review for a game.
