2021年9月9日

👍 Hand-tracking has come to Titans of Space! Among other things, you may now relax with a controller-free experience, doing everything you could do before with just your own hands, even for getting around in spacewalk mode. Since launch, helpful feedback has poured in which is very much…

Space Nerds and Curious Cats Alike

This game is beautiful. The information from my checks so far has been correct and it’s functionality is on point. It’s an educational game that won’t bore you and really gives you a sense of our solar system (and beyond). Music was very relaxing - the voice over might have been a bit better. At 9.99 this is a fair price. Also - I have heard hand tracking will be added which will only be an added bonus and add to the experience. I had a lot of fun exploring and learning about the many gems through out the solar system and the full tour was very well put together. Get this! Good work Oh and Epstein didn’t kill himself!

Next best thing to being an astronaut

the gut-sinking feeling when you first see earth unframed was amazing. Casually looking over and seeing the sun... insane. The guide who would give you tidbits was fun but I liked just going at my own pace and looking at each planet. The best part for me was comparing planets side by side. Looking at Earth and commanding Jupiter to fly in right next to you makes you feel like you're about to fall into space. And amazing experience. I hope this same team does more educational things like this, like a 'history of the world' where you go through timelines of where continents used to be. Or a history of the United States with territories and all that.

Amazing

This is just an amazing experience. I literally could sit in this all day listening and learning about the planets. I just love the fact that you can study them up close and use your thrusters to move around them. Honestly this is just amazing if you love studying the planets. Best Buy so far for me on quest 2. Can not fault this and well worth the price.

SPECTACULAR!! Read THIS Review 1st

Ok 1st off I want to say I read SEVERAL reviews before I bought this (at least 40 all 1 stars up to 3 stars) and I noticed one of the BIGGEST complaints is the narrator/ teacher of the game. I absolutely LOVED HIM!! He was a bit quirky but REALLY enthusiastic about what he was educating me on and it kept me engaged and interested, I found myself answering back at times even lol. I have EVERY single documentary known to man about space and am one of the biggest Sir David Attenborough fans in existence, while he is my #1 narrator / educator of all time this guy here has that same charm to him and I rather enjoyed his presentation. Ok moving on. The visuals are fantastic, however it was lacking 1 thing that REALLY bothered me and that was a missed oportunity to illustrate what the narrator was describing. For example he talked about the meteor that killed the dinosaurs and showed us where it hit earth..but I was expecting to see it also, it wouldnt be hard to update this to include those extra moments that really bring it home and give the viewer perspective. Like seeing the commet hit and the blast wave etc...and there are SEVERAL opportunities just like this where a bit of effort to include these things would have gone a LONG WAY into making this the definitive space experience on Quest 2. It's truly a fantastic app and worth every penny I paid but I can only give it 4 stars for now and I genuinely hope you include some more content that coincides with the narration to provide a better visual representation. If the devs can do that its 5 stars easily. I'm a 41yo who has seen every space doc ever made and this offered new and interesting things I've never known about which really impressed me w how thorough they were and how knowledgable the narrator is. But please, take the time to add more animations to provide a visual so it's more engaging and educating and just cool to watch in general.

Better than the Museum

So obviously it's not a game so you have to be an OG nerd or just enjoy learning to like this, but for cheaper than a ticket to the museum you can get a cooler and more educational tour of the solar system. The blue geek ball serving as the tour guide misspeaks at times and obviously isn't a professional voice actor, but it didn't feel like a detraction to me. It was quaint in a way. I'm just glad someone took the time to make this. I like the sense of awe VR adds to the experience. I wish there were more space tour type of apps maybe with just a bit more graphical polishing. I'd sit and just stare out into space and wonder for awhile.
